After School Clubs

After school clubs are run by Malvern Special Families every Tuesday and Thursday from 3.30pm to 5pm.

Malvern Special Families have been working at the school for a number of years providing Saturday Clubs, Holiday playschemes & an after school club. They employ many Regency school staff and provide a range of fun activities to meet the individual needs of the young people.

Malvern Special Families will send out booking information for all activities at the school a term in advance to all families currently registered with us. If you are not registered then please do get in contact with us (details below). All administration is carried out at our offices in Malvern. You will need to complete a Young Persons Information form for your child before they can attend any of our activities so that we are fully aware of individual needs and support that may be needed for different activities.

The charge for each 90 minute session is £7.00. You will pay Malvern Special Families direct on receipt of an invoice with confirmation of your dates.

Suzanne Nottingham is the Play leader, and Julia Ranford is deputy for all clubs at Regency High School.  Both will be more than happy to answer any of your queries.

About Malvern Special Families

Malvern Special Families is a registered charity that provides clubs and play schemes to children and young people with disabilities aged between 5 and 18 in ‘out of school’ hours around Malvern and in Worcester. This provides excellent social opportunities for children and young people in a safe and stimulating environment whist also giving their families a short break from their caring duties. They offer:

  • A place where children and young people with disabilities can be themselves
  • Individual assessment of each child or young person’s needs
  • Fantastic activities offered to suit all needs
  • Excellent care from a warm and friendly team of experienced play workers
  • A high ratio of staff to young people for individual support
  • A variety of venues so that you can access the club that suits you For more information please visit:

Our after school clubs are so much fun. Tuesday is multi club, we go to local parks for walks and do cooking which is always popular. Thursday is sports club, we do swimming and rebound. Most of the staff that work for MSF work at Regency so really know the children well. We are all highly experienced and take great care in the support we offer. Pick up a leaflet in reception, book online directly or speak to myself at school for information. Thanks
