Thursday 18th July - Celebration Assembly 10.30-12pm - (Parents/carers of the students that are leaving Regency High School this year are invited to attend)

Severe Weather Procedure

As the autumn weather turns icy, please bear in mind the possibility of school closures over the coming months.  The decision to close the school is not taken lightly.  Of primary concern is always the safety of our pupils, and we liaise closely with transport providers who are familiar with their routes and current road conditions. If we have heavy snowfall arriving unexpectedly during the school day we will contact parents and carers, and school transport operators often will arrive early to pick up the pupils. If we have prior warning of severe weather, or it arrives during the night, we will make a decision whether to close the school.

How To Find Up-to-Date Information on School Closures:

  1. Listen to BBC Hereford and Worcester, or other local radio station, for their Snowline bulletins
  2. Have a look at Worcestershire County Council’s website: http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/info/20062/schools/874/school_closures
  3. Look at our School website: www.regency.worcs.sch.uk
  4. Call the Council’s Education Transport Snowline: 01905 765765
  5. Check your mobile phone for text alerts from school.
